Message From the Church Chairman

I am very excited for the far the Lord has brought us towards the realization of this noble project that was started last year. After the achievement of the milestones of the first strategic plan (2008-2013), it was my desire to provide MCK Ruaraka Church with a new road map focusing more on spiritual growth and equipping God’s people for effective service through preaching, teaching and witnessing in word and deed. God planned and created the world in an orderly manner. Paul teaches “Everything should be done in a decent and orderly manner (1Corinthians 14:40). As a Church we launch this road map as a tool to help us actualize our calling to serve God and humanity.

As we embark on the implementation of this strategic plan, the lord is calling us to “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.” Joshua 3:5. In the bible, great revivals and renewals have been preceded by confession of sin and rededication. It has been prophesied that the revival of the Methodist church will start at Ruaraka and therefore it is vital that we consecrate ourselves on a personal and corporate level as a congregation in order to experience the “wonders” that the lord is planning to do in our lives.

We trust God to help us to be transformed Christians. This will help us as to realize our vision of being a Centre of revival and transformative Christian worship. This strategic plan addresses the concerns on how, when, and who should be involved in this great mission of service.

As we embark on this journey we trust God's presence to be with us and pray that we will be committed to serve him wholeheartedly. We trust him to see us through as we serve our generation using relevant skills; all for the glory of God. It is my prayer that all members of this Church will take the bold steps of being change agents for the growth of this great congregation.
